With recent discoveries of emerald ash borer in and near Minnesota’s northwoods, foresters are getting more serious about silvicultural options as we face potential widespread ash mortality. Forest health specialist Bob Heyd has seen this loss first hand in Michigan and will share lessons from that experience. We’ll also hear from Andrew Arends, who will discuss EAB preparations and plans within the Minnesota DNR Division of Forestry.
Recorded Tuesday May 17, 2016
Speakers: Bob Heyd, Michigan DNR and Andrew Arends, Minnesota DNR-Forestry.
