June. MN DNR Native Plant Community Training.
Various locations. 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

The MN DNR is offering training in the use of the Field Guides to the Native Plant Communities of Minnesota in four locations in June 2009.

The classes will include plant identification, soils information, and keying exercises. Each two-day session consists of a one-day indoor introduction to the field guides and a one-day outdoor field session. Anyone can sign up for the indoor sessions; only those who have had the introductory class can sign up for the field sessions. There is no cost for these classes.
