2015 Webinar: Impacts of Deer Browse on Forest Regeneration Across the Northern US

Forest managers are greatly concerned about the effects that browsing from white-tailed deer has on forest regeneration processes. Deer can reduce the abundance and composition of trees and herbs through browsing and can alter the habitat availability for a variety of organisms. This webinar will highlight recent research on deer density and its impacts on tree seedling abundance across the northeastern US, with management implications for Lake States forests.

Recorded Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015
Speakers:  Matt Russell, UMN-FR and Chris Woodall, US Forest Service
