2017 Webinar: Habitat for Minnesota’s Forest-dependent Wildlife – Status and Trends

Dr. Mark Nelson has been compiling and analyzing data on the relationship between timber harvesting and habitat for Minnesota’s forest-dependent wildlife. During this webinar, he will report on the status and trends in forest habitats, with a focus on the Laurentian Mixed Forest biome in northeast Minnesota. Relying primarily on Forest Inventory and Analysis data and the Forest Service’s Northern Forest Futures project, he will also discuss likely future trends in habitat for forest-dependent wildlife. The presentation will be of particular interest to wildlife managers, forest managers, and others with an interest in forest-dependent wildlife.
