2017 Webinar: Status of Minnesota’s Forest Health

Every year insects and diseases kill large numbers of Minnesota’s trees. Through aerial surveys, ground surveys, and in-depth site investigations, the Minnesota DNR’s forest health team strives to track what insects and diseases are most damaging to our forests, which ones are on the rise, and which ones are on the downswing. This webinar will focus on these problems and discuss which insects and diseases made an impact in 2016. Before tuning in, consider reviewing DNR’s 2016 Forest Health Report , which was released in early February 2017.

Date: Tuesday February 14 from noon to 1pm (Central)
Speaker:  Brian Schwingle, MN DNR Forest Health Specialist
