2017 Workshop: Storm Response
Large-scale blowdown events can cause a number of problems ranging from human safety to lost productivity and revenue to disruptions in harvest plans. They can also create opportunities for stand restoration and habitat improvement. We will discuss recent storm events across northern Minnesota with a focus on logistics, technology, production, and wildlife habitat issues.
(These workshops are offered in partnership with the Minnesota Logger Education Program.)
