2019 Workshop: Remote Sensing Tools for Timber Sale Prep and Administration

A full-day workshop at the Cloquet Forestry Center focused on a variety of tools available to help land managers compile and share visual information about new timber sales. Tools to be addressed include high-resolution georeferenced PDF maps of the sale area, still imagery and video from unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and other tools to support all phases of the timber sale process. This workshop is designed for forest managers, although others are welcome to attend.

Date: Tuesday, October 8, 2019
Location: Cloquet Forestry Center (175 University Rd), Cloquet, MN
Time: 8:00am check in opens, workshop runs 8:30am-4:00pm.

Cost: $75 SFEC members, $40 students, $140 others, prices increase by 10% after 5:00pm on October 1, 2019
CEUs: This workshop has been approved for 5.0 CAT1 CFE by SAF.
