SAF and SFEC logos stacked

For the second straight year, SFEC and the Minnesota Society of American Foresters will team up to offer a multiday event to include SFEC's annual Forestry and Wildlife Research Review.

The purpose of the event is to present new applied research relevant to regional natural resource managers, with a focus on silviculture, forest management, and forest-associated wildlife. This focus includes research related to policy, economics, inventory, remote sensing, and other topics pertaining to forests and associated natural resources. We hope to be in person this year, but we do plan to offer a remote attendance option for those unable or uncomfortable attending in person. Registrants will have access to recordings of most presentations after the event.

Event Covid-19 Guidelines: The University of Minnesota requires that a well-fitting mask be worn at all times within UMN facilities. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, please stay home and tune in remotely.
