For the second straight year, SFEC and the Minnesota Society of American Foresters will team up to offer a multiday event to include SFEC's annual Forestry and Wildlife Research Review. We're still planning the event, but we hope you'll save the date and plan to join us. Check back or watch our email updates for additional information.

The purpose of the event is to present new applied research relevant to regional natural resource managers, with a focus on silviculture, forest management, and forest-associated wildlife. This focus includes research related to policy, economics, inventory, remote sensing, and other topics pertaining to forests and associated natural resources. We hope to be in person this year, but we do plan to offer a remote attendance option for those unable or uncomfortable attending in person. Registrants will have access to recordings of most presentations after the event.

Dates: February 15-17, 2022
Location: Cloquet Forestry Center, with remote attendance option
Agenda: In development - check back for details.

All interested learners are welcome. For accommodations related to ability please contact Eli Sagor at esagor@umn.edu.
