Discussing wildlife habitat in a red pine plantation

This week marked the first in this month’s series of workshops on timber sales from a wildlife habitat perspective. We had a great group of natural resource managers and loggers at the Silver Brook Town Hall in Wrenshall for a series of short presentations, discussions, field site visits, and hands-on sale design exercises. I’ve updated the event page with photos from Wrenshall. The next two offerings are June 17 at Whitewater State Park (southeastern MN) and June 24 on the north shore. We do still have space in both – all the details are here.
