Welcome to Woods Work!

What is Woods Work?
WW is a series of 2 hour stand-alone sessions delivered online over Zoom, each focused on a specific tool relevant to natural resource professionals.

What's the point?
While it isn't difficult to gain access to instructions and tutorials online, it can be difficult to get answers to specific questions about tools. Current and new users often desire a more in depth understanding of what a tool can and cannot be used to achieve. Participants will benefit from sessions during which they can gain more in depth exposure to a tool with hands-on active learning, while having access to an expert who can address questions.

What should you expect?
While these sessions will include some instruction and lecture, you should come prepared to engage in discussion, and to ask your questions! If you're currently using this tool in your work, tell us how. If you're interested in applying this tool, share your goals. Each session will include time for participants to engage with the tool.*

*When appropriate, we will not be firing up chainsaws on Zoom or spraying herbicides in our living rooms...
