2016 Workshop: Ground Checking the Forest Management Guidelines

monitoring in harvest site

Understanding how Minnesota’s Forest Management Guidelines  are monitored in the field may help loggers and natural resource managers in their implementation efforts.  This workshop will dig into guidelines related to erosion control, rutting, leave trees and harvest site infrastructure.  With both classroom and field activities, expect to leave with a better understanding of how the guideline monitoring program measures implementation on the ground.

This workshop is offered by SFEC and the Minnesota Logger Education Program.
