Accepting Proposals for 2026 Research and Practice Review

October 27, 2025
We are now accepting proposals from researchers and land managers for our flagship event, the Research and Practice Review (RPR), occurring in person from ~8:30am - 3:30pm January 14th, 2026 at the Cloquet Forestry Center with an online option for those who require it. The purpose of the event is to present new applied research, knowledge gained through practice, and case study findings relevant to regional natural resource managers, with a focus on silviculture, forest management, and forest-associated wildlife. This focus includes topics related to policy, economics, inventory, remote sensing, and other topics pertaining to forests and associated with natural resources stewardship. We've got a variety of presentation formats including poster-only, 5 minute, and 15 minute presentations.

The audience is professional natural resource managers - this is an excellent opportunity to make land managers aware of your research results, share findings from your own practice, and to influence land management activities.

Click here to fill out the RPR2026 RFP Google Form and plan to have proposals in by noon on Wednesday, 5 November.
