Registration Open for September Events

We have four new events open for registration:

During Timber Sale Design for Wildlife Planning on September 7th we will focus on timber sale design considerations when wildlife habitat improvement is an objective. This event is jointly offered with MLEP.

Join SFEC, MN DNR - Forestry ECS staff, and the Itasca County Land Department on September 13th for a field day at sites between Remer and Cohasset focused on ecological silviculture techniques to manage Mesic Hardwood systems.

On September 28th after a webinar on Adaptive Silviculture for Timber Production we will head out to the field with Brian Palik of the US Forest Service to get a closer look at balancing production with climate change resistance, resilience, and transition management strategies.

A day later we will be back at the Cloquet Forestry Center offering a "look under the hood" at the Natural Resource Research Institute's new Forest Change Assessment Simulation Tool. Bring a laptop!
